My daughters love to cosplay. Wands, swords and guns, costumes, cloaks and wigs. They have started attending Comic-cons and Anime festivals. The shows they love to watch all lend themselves to dress up fun.
Natasha loves Harry Potter, or to be specific – die Ron, die Ginny, move over Harry (he’s OK … ) ; here comes the great Draco Malfoy.
For her, Slytherin is everything. She has books, clock, toys, clothes, notepads, lights, posters, pictures, games and several online gaming characters. She now spreads her wings into cosplay.
She has acquired – a cloak, a wig and his wand. Her next want – a broom. Step forth Dad of the Year …. Moi.
Yesterday was a good day. A long day. A shopping day. I am on an upswing emotionally and the day out did me good. I bought an axe handle and a small straw garden screen, the combining of which brought forth the mighty Malfoy’s ride.
I am quite pleased with how it turned out. She loves it although she thinks she might paint it black for authenticity. I may have a new career broommaker to the stars.
“You see, I, unlike you, have been made a prefect, which means that I, unlike you, have the power to hand out punishments.”
“Yeah,” said Harry, “but you, unlike me, are a git.”
She loves a smart mouthed git.
